Ours will be a democratic socialist manifesto. Freed from the restraining hand of the social democrats, we are going further than the 2017 Manifesto on nuclear disarmament, green issues, proportional representation, abolition of the House of Lords, Local Government, Social Care, Pensions, Business and Finance, Children, Health, Housing, and Education. We are going to fund it by making the rich pay their fair taxes.
As part of “bottom up” socialism we wish to bring in participation by all stakeholders, particularly the workers and the service users.
Teams are being set up to write online position papers to buttress the very short manifesto we intend to issue.
